Let the unveiling begin!

We have launched our latest collection of eco-fashion statements on wearthinknow.com

Our Cape Olohana collection stands apart from our traditional pieces in being more formal, more dramatic and more modern - while at the same time organic and feminine. We feel these to be our most bold statements yet, while maintaining the tenants of our eco-fashion core.....literally.

As with all of our pieces, their core is matboard (what? paper!?) that is recycled from Seattle art and frame shops. The colors and textures are a result of the matte and metallic papers that are the exterior face of each piece. Our papers are recycled, or made with recycled content - the packaging for our pieces is also paper, made by wind-generated power.

The forms of our Cape Olohana pieces are our signature organic style  - made modern with simple lines and modern geometries. Each piece bears a Hawaiian name (such as our "Melia" necklace which means plumeria) and was inspired by living in the tropical paradise of Hawaii.

We have collaborated with Lei Ann Shiramizu on MOMO Seattle for this collection launch. Lei Ann is a Hawaii-native with a great passion for the colors, textures, and imagery of the Hawaiian islands. When you visit her store, be sure to ask about the photo behind her desk - a snapshot of her grandparents in Hawaii looking very formal and austere - yet perfectly at home in her eclectic and international boutique. Our travel-inspired eco-fashion is also a perfect fit with Momo's "...blend of Asian style with European accents, flavored with a bit of Hawaii."

Our initial launch of the Cape Olohana Collection is in Lava (black) and Black Pearl (dark gray) - and we will be expanding to other colors and woods for spring. Our pieces have paired beautifully with gowns by alix & kelly, twobirds, and simple sillouettes - provided byBella Bridesmaid of Seattle - for every girl's eco-updo.
