Melia

Our signature Cape Olohana statement is our Melia pendant - named for it's Hawaiian meaning of plumeria, or frangipani in tropical destinations south of the equator. This piece is bold with simple geometries and dramatic profiles, while still maintaining an organic and feminine quality whether you're feeling formal or casual.

As with all of our pieces, the core of this pendant is matboard (what? paper!?) that is recycled from Seattle art and frame shops. The colors and textures are a result of the matte and metallic papers, and recycled wood veneers (coming soon to Melia!), that are the exterior face of each piece. Our papers are recycled, or made with recycled content - the packaging for our pieces is also paper, made by wind-generated power.

Dims: 4" x 6" | sterling silver flat oval chain

These pieces are made from 100% natural materials and water-based adhesives. Melia is hand sealed with bees wax and citrus oil to protect each component from the elements.
